P FOR PEERS 😩

Hey my lovely kings and quins,

"Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are". Do you remember how you always argued that no one can ever change you, and you are not a child? That you choose to be with your circle of friends because they needed you, you were always there for them and they are really good people? but after a while you find yourself doing the exact things you said you'd never do?

Negative peer pressure can be so subtle, sometimes if you aren't keen to observe they'll make it seem like your idea. Although there are positive benefits of peer pressure like friends who push you to take your growth seriously or those who are a constant source of healthy competition, today we will narrow it down to the "strong head, over Sabi one" NEGATIVE PEER PRESSURE. The funny thing with peer pressure is the fact that it sometimes it's self-provoked. In a bid to show those we care about that we are either not lame, We love them or that we can relate to them, we end up going to extremes we would never go to on a normal day., There is something about love on any level, Makes you feel like a deaf superman on a windy day. So today I'm going to be sharing tips on how I dealt with peer pressure.

Here are my top five tips for putting the Pin on Peer Pressure(See what I did thereπŸ˜…)

1) THE VALUE UPGRADE: For someone who dealt with low-self esteem growing up I can talk about the pressure of wanting to belong and mehn! it can be a drainer.

Self-love is so necessary for every aspect of your life. Learning to "value" your feelings, your opinions above all yourself, goes a long way to show in your carriage of "YOU" and matters that concern you. There is a prey-predator mindset instilled in everyone and unconsciously people imbibe it. They can tell when you have self-worth and can stand for what you believe. Doesn't it fascinate you that in some social settings, everyone comes in on the same level but due to the charisma of some people, everyone begins to see them as officials on the scene? it's the same thing with peer pressure. Sometimes, we put ourselves in a position (either by our state of mind or based on our past) where people see us as who they can manipulate, cajole or pressure us to do their bidding. Do you want to handle this?

Take yourself out, Learn to love yourself, spend time getting to know yourself and what's special about you, take on more skills, read a book, find a hobby, YOU KNOW,FOCUS ON YOU! And please remember your opinions are a priority, you are important irrespective of what you think you look like,  the maker of this universe is crazy in love with you and is trying super hard to have a relationship with you. Try being with him you'll love your life a lot more. Now number 2.....

TUNE IN ON SUNDAY BY 6PM FOR THE REST TIPS ON "PUTTING A PIN πŸ“Œ IN PEER PRESSURE 😊".

I love you guys but God loves you more, it's still your girl Quin_ronie promising to keep it real. period!
