P FOR PEERS 😩 (cont'd)

Image
Hey my lovely kings and quins, LET'S SHOOT SHARP AND CONTINUE FRIDAY'S GIST 2) BE UNIQUE      I read a quote that said, "Peer pressure is the pressure you put on yourself to fit it".Ask yourself a question, If you want to be a billionaire,  a celebrity, or someone super influential globally(the hot pepper soup of the Elon musk kind), Do you think it's possible to fit it? So, why do you fight to fit into a mold you subconsciously know is not for you?  You are peculiar people, a royal priesthood, you have a destiny that following God's plan,  is impossible for you to "FIT IN" Ee no go work, so biko forgerrabourit. Embrace your uniqueness, Fall in love with your quirks, and constantly remind yourself of this simple mantra; "FOR THE FUTURE I DESIRE  I MUST PAVE THE ROAD I REQUIRE,  I CAN NOT SUCCUMB TO THE CROWD,  ELSE I WEARY MY CROWN". P.s(I get bars, I know I knowπŸ˜‚) 3) COMPANY      Sometimes these friends that we have may not n...

P FOR PEERS 😩

Image
 Hey my lovely kings and quins,         "Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are".  Do you remember how you always argued that no one can ever change you, and you are not a child? That you choose to be with your circle of friends because they needed you, you were always there for them and they are really good people? but after a while you find yourself doing the exact things you said you'd never do?             Negative peer pressure can be so subtle, sometimes if you aren't keen to observe they'll make it seem like your idea. Although there are positive benefits of peer pressure like friends who push you to take your growth seriously or those who are a constant source of healthy competition, today we will narrow it down to the "strong head, over Sabi one" NEGATIVE PEER PRESSURE. The funny thing with peer pressure is the fact that it sometimes it's self-provoked. In a bid to show those we care about that we...

OUR LOVE STORY PRT1;GROWING UP A P.K (Preacher's Kid);

Image
   Hello! my lovely kings and quins,      Have you heard the phrase"Pastor's kids are the worst or the most spoilt"?, Have you watched "PREACHER'S KID"?, Trust me watch it. It's easy to say things like this when  you are outside looking in.          Growing up the child of a pastor was an indifferent feeling. Now I know some P.K's didn't go through this(bless God for you). But for those who went through this and finally got saved (like me😁) or those going through this right now gather make we relate. I wasn't allowed to go out most times because of security, I couldn't make one mistake without the word "Don't you know others are looking up to you"?. Even though my parents never said I needed to act right because I was a pastor's child but rather because I was God's child, It never really stopped other people from using every opportunity to judge me because I was a child of the servant of God.     It's so much p...

MY VERY FIRST HELLO

Image
 Hello, my lovely kings and quins,          When I was younger I always took the tv remote and stacked up all my barney and Barbie dolls(yes I was one of those barbie doll kidsπŸ˜…). I'd start holding conferences and talking to them about God knows what, later on, I started recording little stories and podcasts on my mum's iPad. One of those days, mum told me I'd definitely be one for sharing my experiences, And voila here I am now. This is my first postπŸ’ƒ and I thought to make this as homely and as quick as possible. I want this new lovely family to get to know me and what this blog is about. Please guys bear in mind this is a safe space, you can be as real as you need to be if you need to be. This blog is my opportunity to make a new family and pour my heart out to you on the different things I face as a child of God living in Christ daily, how I use God's word to overcome them and in turn you get to interact and...
